Purple and Pearlz was born out of a deeply personal experience. Marie Woolen the Grandmother of Rhonda Daniels, began showing signs of Alzheimer’s. Rhonda was unprepared and unaware at the time. However, in hindsight, Rhonda recognized symptoms up to five years before Marie’s diagnosis. This realization was both heartbreaking and eye-opening. Rhonda watched the disease rapidly deteriorate Marie’s mind while feeling powerless to help.

It wasn’t like the flu — there was no simple treatment, no clear answers. Rhonda reached out for help anywhere she could find it. In that process, Rhonda made a promise to herself: that she would do everything in her power to support others facing the same painful uncertainty. Purple and Pearlz is that promise in action — a space for guidance, support, and community.
